CHROMADEK SIGN BOARD CARE
Your sign is rough, tough and… also wants a bit of love and attention. After all, you’ve spent good money on it, had it fitted and marvelled at its awesome power of advertising.
Caring for it is luckily very simple. Just hose or wash it down about once a month (or more if it stands in a very dusty or high pollutant area).
The big sign-killer is dirt and air pollutants like car emissions. These particles will degrade the ink, vinyl base or the over-laminate, severely shortening the life of the sign.
A standard dishwashing liquid will do fine. Remember, harsh chemicals like bleach, solvents, alcohol and fuels should never be used.
For chromadek signs that are slightly higher, you can use a SOFT broom with soapy water to brush down the dirt. Remember, non-laminated prints should be treated extra careful as to not scratch the print.
